The Requirements

Doncaster Council are a major local authority in the South Yorkshire region.  With a fleet well in excess of 750 vehicles, they required a whole range of vehicle tracking services from simple monitoring of vehicles through to Driver I/D systems, Panic Alerts, specialist functions and interfaces.

The Solution

Trackyou supplied a team of engineers on-site to complete the installation swiftly and without delay for Doncaster.  The range of vehicles presented varied from cars, vans, Gritters, Scooters, Grass cutters, HIABS, sweepers and gully cleaners to name a few.  Trackyou were able to provide specialist monitoring for devices such as sweepers, gully cleaners and gritters as part of their installtion process.  Remote and in-cab panic devices were also fitted as part of the project.

The Outcome

Doncaster were delighted with the installation targets that Trackyou set and completed on time.  Attention to detail played a crucial part and Trackyou’s flexible approach to providing specialist solutions paid dividends in ensuring that Doncaster Council received exactly the system and protocols they were looking for during the tendering stage.
