The Requirements

With vehicles operational in and around the Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire area, North Lincolnshire Homes housing trust wanted greater control over out of hours usage and more information on activities taking place with their fleet.  Specifically of interest to them was the capability to immobilise the vehicle and prevent unauthorised use.  After a brief RFQ process, Trackyou were selected for the ease of use of our system and our ability to tick all the boxes required by NLH.

The Solution

Trackyou were able to organise a speedy and efficient response to the request for installation.  Our ability to integrate vehicle immobilisation with our tracking and Driver I/D system was a main reason for us being selected, so it was a simple process for enable this for NLH.  All drivers have to present their own unique Driver I/D fob to the vehicle – or it simply won’t start.

North Lincolnshire Homes also wanted the ability to have an in-cab button to signal that the driver had completed his/her vehicle safety checks each day.  Again, Trackyou were able to provide this simple to use function as part of a complete solution for the organisation.

The Outcome

North Lincolnshire Homes have total control over the operations of its vehicles on a daily basis.  By using Driver I/D, it’s possible to keep an accurate record of what their drivers are doing during business hours or outside of them if required.  Importantly, as the majority of drivers take their vehicles homes with them, they have an important safety mechanism in place should the vehicle be stolen.   With Trackyou’s 100% success rate when it comes to recovering stolen vehicles – North Lincolnshire Homes have complete peace of mind.
