Due to expansion we are looking for an experienced System Administrator. Applicants must have excellent Unix/Linux knowledge coupled with an understanding of Windows Servers.

Description

Must have substantial experience of Linux/Unix system administration, a thorough understanding of networking (routers/firewall/etc), good experience of running and optimising database servers, preferably MySQL, experience of configuring various services, such as mail, web, DNS, Shell scripting and the ability to work under pressure. Experience if Windows . 2003 server, Perl scripting and educated to Degree level would be desirable. Duties involve the day to day running and security of the servers, any required maintenance of the system and planning and implementing changes to the server hardware and/or software.
